Start with the experience you want
A well-prepared listing has many moving parts: repairs, cleaning, access, staging, photography and the first showing. Your staging partner becomes part of that sequence. The right conversation starts with how the team will support the property and the people bringing it to market.
Look for a point of view, applied to your property
Ask why the proposed furniture works for the home. Scale, circulation, architectural character and the intended buyer matter more than the number of pieces on a truck. A strong portfolio should demonstrate how the team handles different spaces while maintaining a consistent level of care.
Compare the scope before comparing the total
Two proposals can cover very different work. Ask which rooms are included, what furnishings and accessories will be installed, how long the initial term lasts, and what happens if the listing needs more time. Delivery, removal, access conditions and photography should be clear. A detailed scope makes the investment easier to assess.
Ask how the day will run
Who coordinates access? What needs to be finished before arrival? How are changes to the listing schedule handled? What happens between installation and photography? Clear answers give you a practical view of the experience you are purchasing.
Choose a team you can communicate with
Look for attentive questions, a straightforward proposal and a clear contact for scheduling. Professionalism is reflected in these everyday details. They help an agent keep the seller informed and make the next step easier to plan.
